At youspots.com our aim is to provide quality spots (not just sheer numbers). We figured that we need some kind of system to help you figure out which users provide quality spots.

Our ranking system (grades) indicates members’ level of activity within the community. The higher a member’s grade the more active s/he is. A high grade will get a user displayed at the top of search results as well as in the Top User section. This will help everybody to check out the best spots first.

However, please note that you don’t necessarily become top user by posting the most spots. We want to encourage you to provide as many details as possible in your spots, embed pictures and videos of the location and also to comment and rate other people’s spots that you’ve visited. Feedback on spots and a detailed description of what you can expect there assures the quality we aim to provide.

The points needed to achieve a certain grade are displayed on your right. Details on how many points are granted for certain information are not revealed to prevent misuse.
